We thought it only right that the wedding party should throw a few poses into the ceremony. We began with a warm-up “tree pose” in the Coach House where Erin was putting on the final touches before making her grand entrance.

During the ceremony the best man and bridesmaid flanked the bride and groom in Triangle pose, framing the couple appropriately.

A portion of the ceremony was captured on video by Dan’s business partner Aydin. View video.

Recently I was performing a wedding ceremony on the terrace at The Juniper Inn . I did a double take when I recognized the mother of the groom as one of the persons in my regular Yoga class with Mystee Hunter at the Banff Springs Hotel. After the ceremony it did not take long for the groom’s mom, sister and myself to entertain the guests with a few yoga maneuvers.
