Getting Married in the alpine basin at Mount Charles Stewart north of Canmore.	Mount Charles Stewart alpine basin: We fly north from Canmore to an open alpine basin at 7500 feet, at the base of an imposing peak. We are left on our own but for the marmots and the bighorn sheep in the distance. After the marriage ceremony, you may enjoy a picnic or walk about in the alpine flora. There is ample time for photos and relaxing before the helicopter returns. Groups of up to 15 persons are possible.

If the weather is fine we will land at about 8500 feet, and work our way along a spectacular ridge. It is a moving ceremony with a different location for each part. All members of the wedding party must be in reasonable physical shape since the elevation is high, the terrain is uneven, and there are no trails. Mornings are best for calm air and good light. Maximum 6 persons.

Photo: Brenda Falvey	Marvel Pass: Flying south from Canmore we pass the Three Sisters, over the Spray Reservoir and the high ridges to Marvel Lake and the famous Mount Assiniboine, also known as the “Matterhorn of the Rockies”. Our pilot takes us in for a close-up look at the hanging glaciers before heading south to Marvel Pass. We are dropped off at 7200 feet, close to Cabin Lake, surrounded by larch trees, small lakes and towering peaks. This is a gentler, lower elevation location than Mt. Charles Stewart, and has a longer more spectacular flight path. Maximum 6 persons.
Winter Special: During the winter months of February, March and April, the helicopter stays with us, and this reduces the flight costs considerably. We reduce our exposure to the elements to just over one hour. Conditions can be extreme and ski attire is appropriate. Not available Nov / Dec / Jan. Winter Heli-access wedding at a high mountain location.
